Cover Ninja
UX and UI design for a fitness app called Cover Ninja, aimed at gyms and instructors to take the hassle out of getting cover for their group exercise classes.
The Cover Ninja app is aimed at trainers as well as venues, to help them arrange cover for their group classes. There is a slick onboarding process for each type of user to get them up and running quickly and easily.
Trainers looking to cover classes can upload their qualifications, class types, pay preferences and add a search radius, so they are only shown cover requests in their preferred area.
Trainers are notified when a new request matching their criteria is posted and can easily tap ‘I can do this’ to accept the request and add the class to their dashboard.
When posting a cover request, trainers have lots of flexibility to give priority to specific people, groups or open it up to all Cover Ninja members.
Each user has a profile so trainers can check out who is covering their class as well as contact them with any specific instructions etc.
The dashboard is the home for trainers to view and manage all of their upcoming classes. Trainers can easily see details of upcoming classes they are covering to help them plan ahead or switch to see classes they have requested cover for to check which have been accepted and which are pending. Past classes are also shown in this feed so they can confirm cover with venues and find venue invoicing details to make sure they get paid the correct amount for each class they cover.
“Gary worked with us on the design of our app. He is super easy to work with. He updated us constantly and always delivered to time and budget. We will certainly be using Gary again and couldn't recommend him highly enough.”
